The finance team for not-for-profits
We work with boards, CEOs and COOs who need finance running properly. We handle ACNC-ready compliance, get your systems talking to each other, and deliver board reports on time every cycle.
Finance your board can rely on
Most not-for-profits end up with their finances being done by someone who was never hired to do it. An ops manager, an EA or sometimes the CEO. It works until an audit comes around, or the person leaves, and then nobody can find how anything was done.
Not-for-profit finance has its quirks, and not every accountant has dealt with them. Audit-ready accounting and ACNC obligations are just part of our week, rather than something we'd be working out as we go.
We take on the whole function: the day-to-day processing, the compliance, the systems and the reporting. You'll still own the budget, but everything after that is ours, including board-ready reporting that's finished well before the meeting rather than the night before.
Whether you've got no one looking after finance or someone who's stretched too thin, we can pick it up from wherever it's at. Have a chat with us and we'll tell you whether we're the right fit.
Our pricing promise
We'll quote a fixed fee on what your organisation needs now and we can take on more of the finance function as things change.

Where do small business owners go for advice?
Running a business by yourself can get pretty lonely, so it’s crucial to develop a community you can turn to for advice: Fellow small business owners, friends and family, tech support, a lawyer – and of course, a great accountant.
As expert small business accountants, we care about your growth and success as much as you do. If we don’t know the answer to a question, we’ll connect you with someone who does.
Does my small business need to file a tax return?
You need to lodge a tax return if you’re operating a business of any kind and size in Australia. You can do this yourself, or hire a small business accountant to help you prepare your tax return, and report your income and losses. You can find our complete list of compliance obligations for Australian businesses here.
When are small business tax returns due?
Small business tax returns are due by February 28 each year. However, if you’re filing through a registered small business tax agent, you could be eligible for an extension. As small business accountants, we can prepare tax returns for all types of entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
